Groundwater pumps are used for pumping water mixed with soil (pulp). Such pumps are used in industries where it is required to provide hydraulic transport of solid particles that cause intense abrasion in contact with these materials: mining enterprises, power stations, and diamond-gold-mining companies, technological lines of cleavage etc.
These pumps can be used in mineral processing plants in gold and slag removal systems, at thermal hydropower plants, purification systems in the mud on drilling rigs, on cement production enterprises.
Design features of groundwater pumps are determined by the presence of large quantities of solid particles in the pumped water, which creates a very intense abrasive action, and the need to pass a rather large inclusions (gravel, stones), which fall to the ground.
